Hello Sweetheart! I’m just writing a short note to tell you how much I miss you & am thinking of you. I’m going to a USO show tonight – they’re having “Hellzapoppin” on the stage.

I didn’t get a letter today but I expect one tomorrow.

This afternoon we had a 2 hr. hike. Boy was it hot & still is. The wind is blowing like hell!
